There has been a long tradition of growing things on the Three Oak Winery property. Built on the site of a former nursery, our vineyard continues to work with nature and the land to produce the best wines possible. 

Beginning in 2011, Albert Lea natives Jay Enderson and Dan Sorensen envisioned a winery on the outskirts of Albert Lea, Minnesota. They came upon the nursery property and saw the potential for a vineyard. The first grapevines were planted in the summer of 2011, beginning with the varietals Frontenac Gris and Marquette. A former garage and storage area was converted into the production room; the rest is history! A few years later, the West Vineyard was planted, and the tasting room was completed in the spring of 2017. 

​As Three Oak Winery continues to grow, we remain focused on the goals that started it all: producing great wines and making you feel welcome and relaxed at our Winery.
