  • Registration check-in opens at 10:30 am

Who: WGGA, WWA Members and Non-Members 

  • WGAA & WWA Members are $20 each, and Non-Members are $25 each
  • Please bring cash or check ONLY day of the event 
  • Registration is limited to 100 folks and due by Monday,  August 7th

11:15am     “The Birth and Growth of Vernon Vineyards”

  • Loren Cade and Bob Starks - Founders of Vernon Vineyards & John and Deanna Pedretti - Owners of Vernon Vineyards 
    • Grapes grown: Edelweiss, Itasca, Marquette, Frontenac, Frontenac Blanc, Frontenac Gris, La Crescent and St. Croix

11:30am     “Looking For The Perfect Vine”

  • Tom Plocher - Vineyard Walk Leader, Grape Vine Breeder and Owner of Plocher Vines 
    • Following a brief presentation everyone will go out into the vineyard - rain or shine…unless there is thunder/lightning

1:30pm       Plocher Vines Wine Tasting (inside tasting includes - Petite Pearl, Crimson Pearl and Verona) 

  • Tom Plocher - Vineyard Walk Leader, Grape Vine Breeder and Owner of Plocher Vines

2:00pm       Adjourn & Lunch (available for pre-paid registered attendees: BBQ Pork or BBQ Chicken plate)

  • Participants are welcome to stay and enjoy the Sunday afternoon music on the tasting room’s outdoor patio with music from 2-5 pm
